Your new role
This role is pivotal in driving the creation, implementation, and management of the second new product vertical for our client (the first being loans). Working with the Head of Strategy, the Head of Telco will create the Telco business model, strategic framework including customer value proposition, the operational delivery plan and ultimately the structure for the ongoing management and growth of the division. The role will be responsible for identifying core partners within the telco space, defining the optimal commercial models, negotiating contracts, creating the product offering, establishing the go-to-market strategy (including the optimal sales process), taking the offer to market and then transitioning to managing that product offering on an ongoing basis.
You will:
- Lead analysis, identify market business opportunities, and develop unique selling propositions to sustain & grow the Telco division to be a significant and contributing vertical to the product offering
- Work with the leadership & Sales teams to define, launch and drive strategic Sales initiatives within this product vertical
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a driven individual who can demonstrate strong strategic and analytical thinking. You will work collaboratively with Operations, Finance, Sales, Tech, Partnerships & Marketing for the success of new products.
- 7+ years’ experience in the telecommunications industry
- Proven track record in product and P&L; management
- Experience within a B2B environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal/negotiating skills along with strong oral & written communication
- Commercially minded driving business growth and profitability
- A good communicator with effective stakeholder management
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proven track record in engaging with customers and being the customer advocate
