Minibeasts Enterprises breeds and supplies millions of live insects and frozen food animals each year to over 400 zoos, wildlife centres and pet stores across the country.
We're not your typical farm — we're a multi-species, intensive production facility where you'll be involved in the breeding, growing and care of seven different species, each with its own unique environmental and nutritional needs. What's the role?
As an Animal Production Technician, you'll be part of our core production team, supporting the day-to-day operations of our high-output, high-care farming systems.
Your responsibilities include:
* Breeding, feeding and harvesting multiple species
* Operating equipment and following intensive farming workflows
* Maintaining high environmental standards for animal health
* Accurate record-keeping and contributing to team production targets
* Working safely with chemicals and live animals
* Packing and preparing products for dispatch across Australia
