Job Description
About this opportunity
We are seeking a Civil Design Engineer/Senior Engineer to join the team in our Melbourne Office. Whether you bring 3 years or 6 years of experience, we’ll tailor your role & responsibilities to match your skills, experience, and career goals. You will be responsible forall aspectsofcivildesign within our projects and exposed to a wide range of integrated projects and enjoy true diversity in your work. This role will see you:
* Preparing design concepts,CADmodelsand detailed designfor civil engineering requirementssuch as drainage, sewerage,roadandassociatedinfrastructure
* Read and interpret civil drawings and apply design principles to translate concepts and information into drawings,usingfeedback tomodifydesigns
* Driving project performance and service delivery through positive technical outcomes for the client
* Supporting and mentoring junior design team members by sharing your knowledge and experience to help support their professional development, as well as your own
* Champion the use of12D and other design/modelling tools tostreamline design processes andcreateenhancedoutputs
* Proactivelyidentifyand resolve technical design issues with thewider design team
What we are seeking
Ideally you have previously worked on complex masterplanned communities and subdivision projects and land development and your skills managing design challenges are second to none. You will come to us with:
* Highproficiencywith AutoCAD and 12D
* Experience, or an interest in,operatingin a multidisciplinary consultancy
* A proactive attitude and desire to take on new challenges
* The ability to work autonomously, managing priorities across multiple projects
* Experience and understanding of the EDCM and MRWA design codes
