Venetian Glow Finishes and Pietra Marble Creations are established and growing businesses specialising in premium decorative finishes, materials, and professional training courses. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable, professional, and proactive Warehouse & Administration Assistant to join our team in South Hurstville.
This is a fully on-site role and requires an early morning start at 7:00 AM, Monday to Saturday. The successful candidate will play a key role in the daily operations of our warehouse and customer service functions, supporting both businesses.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on, multi-functional position suited to someone who enjoys variety and responsibility. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations while also assisting with customer service, sales, and administrative duties.
As our warehouse is frequently visited by trade clients and customers, this role requires strong interpersonal skills and a professional, welcoming manner. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers and will represent the business accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
* Opening and preparing the warehouse each morning (7:00 AM start)
* Managing and maintaining inventory levels
* Receiving, organising, and dispatching stock
* Preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised, and safe
* Monitoring stock levels and reporting low inventory
Customer Service & Sales
* Serving walk-in trade and retail customers
* Providing product advice and information
* Processing sales transactions
* Building and maintaining positive client relationships
* Selling products and training courses over the phone
* Following up customer enquiries professionally
Client Support & Sample Deliveries
* Preparing and delivering samples to clients when required
* Using a company vehicle (or personal vehicle if preferred) for sample drop-offs
* Representing the business professionally during client visits
Administrative Support
* Answering incoming phone calls and responding to enquiries
* Assisting with general administrative tasks
* Supporting the directors with day-to-day operational needs
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation
