About the Role
We're looking for someone who enjoys keeping a busy workplace running smoothly and likes helping people. You'll join a small, friendly team that genuinely supports each other, and your work will help us run clinical trials that truly make a real difference to people living with respiratory conditions.
You don't need to know everything about clinical trials, we'll give you the training and support to get up to speed. What matters most is your organisation skills, your willingness to learn, and your ability to work well with people.
Your role covers four main areas: Office Management, keep the unit running smoothly; organise everyday admin, and be a friendly point of contact for the team. Pre-Trial Feasibilities, help gather information and support early planning for new studies. No clinical experience needed, we'll guide you step by step. Finance Overview, assist with budgets, purchases and reports. You'll get full guidance on our systems. Staff Education, organise training sessions, tracking GCP certificates, and help new staff settle in so everyone feels confident.
You'll be joining a kind, down-to-earth team that values learning, collaboration, and doing research that matters. If you enjoy variety, like working with good people, and want a role where support and growth are built-in, we'd love to welcome you.
About You
You take pride in doing things well and supporting the people around you. You're organised, steady and confident enough to guide a small team, and keep things running smoothly, even on busy days. You can prioritise tasks and follow safety and compliance requirements without a fuss.
* Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Health Science/Administration, or related discipline with 3+ years working in clinical trials and/or office management.
* You like bringing people together, sorting out what needs to be done and making sure everyone feels supported.
* Well organised, communicate clearly and feel confident using everyday computer systems. You notice the little details and like getting things right.
* A good understanding of how clinical research works; study processes, safety requirements and the guidelines to be followed, or a willingness to learn.
