Morgana Medical is a newly established specialty general practice located in Beaconsfield, WA. We are a small, privately owned and operated clinic focused on an integrative and holistic approach to patient care, with a special focus on women's health and cosmetics. Morgana Medical currently operates from one consultation room with reception area in a building that is shared with other health service providers (travel health and psychology).
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager, 2IC, or Senior Receptionist to take responsibility of the clinic's day-to-day operations and help us nurture the success and growth of our clinic.
You will work closely with our personable Practice Owner/Principal GP to ensure smooth practice operations and the delivery of excellent patient services. Attention to detail, professionalism, and superb communication are key to the role. Practice Manager experience, including accreditation, will be looked upon favourably but is not essential, however a willingness to learn is desired.
Key Responsibilities (Position Description):
* Oversee daily clinic operations and workflows
* Oversee accounts, invoicing, billing, and Medicare compliance
* IT coordination and troubleshooting
* Liaise with patients, clinical staff, and external providers/suppliers
* Manage supplies, stationery, and general practice needs
* Support accreditation, compliance, and policy development
* Assist general HR including recruitment, contracts, and onboarding
* Previous experience working as a PM / 2IC (desirable) or Senior Receptionist within a GP or specialist setting
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* A calm, professional, and empathetic approach with patients
* Experience using Best Practice, HotDoc, and MS Office
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
* Understanding of General Practice policies, as well as healthcare, legal, and regulatory standards
* Knowledge of Medicare, Online Claiming, DVA, WorkCover & Private billing
* Knowledge of Practice Accreditation process

* Currently 4-5 days per week (Mon-Friday only, 8am – 4.30pm)
* Located in Beaconsfield, WA
* Reporting to: Practice Owner/Principal GP
* Competitive Salary: $36 – $45/hour (depending upon experience)
