The Visitor Services Officer will welcome visitors with a positive experience, whilst providing knowledge of Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village Precinct and wider Warrnambool region including its history and features.
The successful applicant will have:
* Knowledge and experience in public services – tourism, hospitality or interpretative areas.
* Knowledge of tourism products and services - specifically history, geography, features and attractions.
* High level of communication skills and customer service
* Skills and knowledge in the areas of promotion, sales and public speaking
* This position is predominately weekend work due to the nature of the role.
The Benefits
The casual position offers an hourly rate of $42.33 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading).
The temporary part time position offers an hourly rate of $33.87 per hour, and will conclude on 2 November 2026. This role is required to work a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight.
Both positions work across a 7 day roster.
