About the role
We arelooking for enthusiastic and hardworking people to join our Field team at ourAshburton plant during our Potato Storage Season (March 2026 – May 2026). Thisis a seasonal role, working a minimum of 30 hours per week, either Day shift - 6ON 1 OFF roster or Night shift – 5 ON 2 OFF roster as directed. Remunerationwill be based on your experience and qualifications.
As a Potato Storage Forklift Operator, you willbe responsible for:
* Moving pipes, bins, trays etc with forklift.
* Manually moving of pipes by hand (hook).
* Assisting with potato inspections (if needed)as trained.
For this role, you'll need:
* Must have a goodunderstanding of written and oral English to enable safe operational processand follow instructions.
* High level of fitness as role requiresshifting pipes.
* Ability to learn andunderstand / practice health and safety SOPs.
* Strong work ethic.
