Katherine Physio is looking for a reliable, energetic and hands on Physio to join our expanding team. We provide a fantastic opportunity and environment for you to grow your career wherever your interests may lie. Our caseload is interesting and varied as Katherine captures a unique demographic.
Our Story
* Katherine Physio is 11 years old and provides a wide range of Physiotherapy services to Katherine and surrounding communities. With longer appointment times we are dedicated to delivering high-quality holistic care, ensuring our patients achieve their best outcome. We have strong working relationships with local health services, and love supporting community activities and events.
* The Centre for Movement is 1 year old and provides a variety of classes including mat and reformer pilates, TRX, rehabilitation classes and children's movement programs. Our goal is to expand the services and programs on offer at the Centre to inspire the Katherine community to move more and move well.
* Katherine Physio has a growth mindset. We are progressive, innovative, and are constantly looking for ways to improve our service delivery. We embrace change and welcome new ideas.
* We have a team of 8, clinicians, admin and support staff included. Our clinical team consists of physios, and massage therapy. We offer Physiotherapy, massage therapy and Pilates services across two locations.
* We have formal and informal clinical and non-clinical mentoring
* Our clinicians love the customised caseload and ability to treat their favourite types of clients, as well as the warm, friendly and laid back environment.
WE HAVE SEVERAL EXCITING ROLES AVAILABLE
JUNIOR
* Minimum 2 years experience in a private practice or similar clinical setting, with a strong understanding of physiotherapy principles and techniques.
* Demonstrated clinical reasoning skills, with the ability to design and implement evidence-based treatment and exercise plans.
* Confident with manual therapy techniques
SENIOR
* Has minimum 5 years experience working in a busy private practice
* Is strongly committed to excellence in private practice and enjoys being in a busy, stimulating clinic environment
* Ideally you have a special area of interest within private practice - we currently have physios with special interests in clinical pilates, Women's and pelvic health, gym based rehab, paediatrics, hand therapy and splinting.
LEADERSHIP
If you have aspirations to be our next clinical mentor as part of your role, this is also an opportunity available.
You may:
* Monitor clinical excellence within the clinic and implement strategies to improve it
* Assist junior staff with treatment planning and clinical reasoning
* Monitor notes compliance/clarity.
* Contribute to goal setting and practice development procedures.
* Assist with or drive recruitment of new clinicians.
* Assist with organisation of in-house PD, external courses and in-services and resournces to assist mentees.
* Supervise students
