Your new role
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the civil components of building projects. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to projects across commercial, industrial and institutional sectors, supporting developments from early planning through to construction and handover.Key responsibilities will include:
* Design of civil works associated with building projects, including earthworks, site levels, stormwater drainage, pavements, car parks and external services
* Preparation of concept designs, detailed civil design and construction documentation
* Coordination with internal structural and building teams, architects and external consultants
* Liaison with councils, authorities and certifiers to support approvals
* Providing technical input during construction, including RFIs and site inspections
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* A degree qualification in Civil Engineering
* Experience working on the civil components of building or land development projects in Australia
* Sound knowledge of stormwater design, earthworks and site servicing
* Proficiency with civil design software (e.g. 12d, Civil 3D or similar)
* Understanding of relevant Australian Standards, guidelines and local authority requirements
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
