Position Summary & Primary Objectives
Reporting to the Team Lead Managed Security Engineering, the Senior Security Engineer – MSS is responsible for supporting a variety of projects and priorities within the team as required, such as providing level 3 support, complex fault resolution and continuous improvements to infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills
* Must have minimum 3 years Palo Alto experience
* Minimum 5 years Network Engineering experience
* Netskope, Proxy, Squidm ZTNA highly desirable
* Cisco networking background - desirable
* Experience of Panorama migrations - desirable
Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and services requests for infrastructure and other related technologies (e.g., network, systems, cloud, etc.)
* Proactively investigate and provide recommendations on client infrastructure performance and stability.
* Maintain system health and performance through proactive maintenance and patching activities across infrastructure
* Perform analysis on network and security event data collected from network elements and security devices, ensuring alignment to best practice standards
* Perform configuration and administration of infrastructure
* Develop and contribute to processes and review their application to ensure that the controls, policies, and procedures are operating effectively
* Mentor and guide up and coming members of the team
