About the role
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis.
Your daily duties would involve but not be limited to:
* Set out and build Timber Deck structures with custom made pre-fabricated steel frame roof structures.
* Cut and fit doors, Install stairs, hand rails and balustrade.
* Our decks and patios are unique and make for an interesting working environment.
* Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
About You
* Proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally in a construction or fit-out environment
* Formal carpentry qualification, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry would be highly regarded
* Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident
* Regular access to a reliable vehicle
* Valid ABN Number and your own tools
* Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety requirements
* Ability to use a range of hand and power tools safely and proficiently
