Responsibilities
As a
Personal Banking Advisor
, you will welcome customers to Westpac at the branch, engage in conversations to uncover their needs, and provide tailored banking solutions. You will use your product knowledge to help customers achieve their financial goals both in-person and over the phone, and refer them to specialist Banking teams when necessary. This role requires dedication and expertise to empower customers to make the most of their money every day. The position is full-time, branch-based, with hours Monday to Friday.
What do I need?
Mandarin or Cantonese language capability.
Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer-facing or phone-based role with experience of working to targets.
Resilience with the ability to remain calm and composed while managing challenging situations.
Comfortable working towards sales/referral targets and calling customers over the phone.
Numerical capability, ideally with proficiency in cash handling and counting, and the ability to complete financial transactions accurately.
An energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people.
The will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies.
