About the role
Join SA Pathology as a Technical Officer and help support the delivery of high quality Food and Environmental Laboratory services within a collaborative and technically focused environment. You will apply your technical expertise across a broad range of laboratory activities while contributing to accurate testing and timely results that support important public health and environmental outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Perform standard and complex testing across multiple technical methods and laboratory domains while applying sound technical judgement and problem solving skills.
* Contribute to research and project activities, support quality outcomes, provide technical advice and recommendations.
* Assist with supervising and training less experienced staff to help maintain high standards of laboratory performance and service delivery.
Qualifications
* Relevant diploma or advanced diploma qualification.
* Experience across microbiology laboratory operations.
* Support teams and resolve technical issues confidently.
* Prioritise workloads and deliver accurate results.
