An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Property Maintenance support person, ensuring our South-East Queensland Centres continue to be safe and look their best.

* Performing scheduled and adhoc maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Coordinator in Queensland.No day is the same, and could include general property maintenance tasks such as installing shelving, patch and painting, fixing wooden outdoor structures, frosting on glass, general repairs to furniture etc;
* Landscaping and gardening maintenance of property ground as required, such as weeding, mulching, pruning etc;
* Identifying and reporting new risks while working to minimise existing ones;
* Undertaking administrative tasks related to maintenance operations, currently using maintenance task management 'Ticked Off'.
About You:
* Prior experience doing property maintenance or trade background in building and maintenance
* Prior property maintenance experience in the Early Childhood or School setting preferred, but not essential
* The ability to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. We want someone multiskilled, with a general to advanced knowledge of how-to
* Solutions based thinking with a strong attention to detail and reliability
* Strong organisational and time management skills - the ability to service the centres in a timely manner focusing on prioritised tasks
* Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions
* Play an active role in ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Contract role 3-4 days per week initially, with the possibility of increasing to 5 days
* Some Weekend and Before/After hours work may be required for some tasks
* The ability to travel to support our centres across Sunshine Coast and Brisbane
* Current Manual drivers license
* Currently hold or the ability to obtain a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement
* Ideal commencement mid-April
