The Role
Ecocene Intelligence is seeking a Remote Sensing Analyst to contribute to Ecocene Intelligence projects, products, and processes through the implementation of our remote sensing data processing pipeline.
The Remote Sensing Analyst will play a key role in the timely and high-quality delivery of products to Ecocene Intelligence customers via Ecoda.
About You
You will be well-supported by senior experts in remote sensing, data science, and ecology to help expand your skills and grow your career.
You will process a variety of remote sensing data to produce meaningful metrics that enable our customers to better manage their workplace and report to government regulators.
You will have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working with geospatial data. You will have the capacity to adhere to defined procedures and process while also applying your problem-solving skills when necessary.
Your Skills
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant scientific field that incorporates significant geospatial coursework or a relevant Bachelor’s degree with postgraduate qualification in geospatial science.
- Processing remote sensing data using Python and data management and analysis using GIS.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to follow established processes but also apply your problem-solving skills when needed.
- An ability to enthusiastically contribute, work effectively with people from all levels of business, and enjoy being part of a team.
- Excitement for helping people use data and technology to solve environmental issues.
