Our clients requires an experienced individual to assist the Payroll supervisor plus another Senior Payroll officer. This is initially for a 6 months period, 3 days per week.
The role:
Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, your role will include but will not be limited to:
* Processing the organisations payroll
* Manual data entry of timesheets
* Preparing payments of regular payrolls
* Calculation of termination, redundancies and other ad hoc payments
* Preparing and Verifying the monthly accruals for salaries and benefits
* Ensuring payroll queries are handled in a courteous and timely manner via phone and email
* Assisting with payment summaries at the end of the financial year
* Assisting the team reconciling the month end actual data and accruals
* Assisting with month end closing processes including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliation
* Some HR duties
As the successful applicant, you will have:
* Experience in end to end payroll
* Ability to work well with others and good communication skills
* Good excel skills
