Communications Officer (Part-Time – 0.6 FTE)

Chandler Macleod is seeking a Communications Officer for our client in Shepparton.
This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys working on meaningful projects and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality communication materials that showcase program outcomes and impact. You will work closely with internal teams, partners, and the community to ensure information is clear, engaging, and accessible.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver communication materials including media releases, reports, presentations, and promotional content
* Manage and update website and social media content
* Coordinate communication projects to ensure delivery on time and within budget
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather and share information
* Support broader communications and marketing initiatives
* Maintain strong relationships with community groups, government agencies, and industry partners
About You
You are a strong communicator with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content. You enjoy working collaboratively and can manage multiple projects at once.
You will bring:
* Experience in communications, marketing, journalism, or a similar field
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
* Solid organisational and project management abilities
* Experience with digital platforms, including websites and social media
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field are desirable. Graduates are encouraged to apply.
