We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Assessing Coordinator to join our team in either Toowoomba or Townsville in a permanent, full-time role commencing Tuesday 12 May 2026.

This is a role where no two days look the same. You'll be right in the middle of the action, coordinating assessments, managing workflows, and working closely with assessors, repairers, tow providers and customers to keep claims moving and deliver a seamless experience from start to finish.

What you'll be doing:

* Delivering professional, empathetic service to customers and stakeholders when they need it most
* Coordinating assessment, repair and tow bookings from lodgement through to repair
* Allocating assessments based on complexity, location and availability
* Managing high-volume workflows and competing priorities to keep things moving
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in Claim Centre
* Identifying and escalating risks, sensitive claims or potential fraud
* Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
* Supporting assessors with coordination and admin tasks, including Motor Hub support where required
* Responding to customer queries and complaints within agreed timeframes
* Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to drive great outcomes
* Sharing insights and ideas to improve processes and customer experience
* Stepping in to support event and catastrophe response efforts when needed

What you'll bring:

* Experience in a customer service or coordination role
* The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* A strong customer focus, with empathy and a genuine desire to help
* Clear and confident communication skills
* The ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
* High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‐solving
* Resilience, adaptability and a "get it done" mindset
* Insurance or claims experience is a bonus, but not essential
