The Chief Operating Office (COO) oversees technology and operations at CommBank, focusing on innovation, simplification, and automation to enhance customer experience. The Retail Credit Decisioning (RCD) team within COO is responsible for making timely, quality credit risk decisions in line with the bank's risk appetite, supporting various retail banking channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess and decide on secured and unsecured consumer credit referrals received via proprietary and third-party channels.
* Ensure decisions are accurate, consistent, and delivered promptly to provide excellent customer service.
* Adhere to sales, service, risk policies, and procedures, supporting ongoing credit training and development.
* Contribute to responsible credit risk management aligned with business profitability and strategic goals.
* Maintain compliance with delegated authorities, legislative policies, and audit requirements.
* Follow the Group Risk framework and ensure policies and systems meet risk management expectations.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience in retail credit environments.
* Knowledge of the bank's home loan origination process, including systems like CommSee Home Loans, Top Ups, and Maintenance.
* Understanding of the bank’s credit policies and their practical application.
