About the opportunity
There is currently one (1) fixed term, 24 -month, full-time position available for immediate filling with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
The South West Development Commission are looking for an enthusiastic, punctual individual who is keen to learn and strive to achieve positive outcomes. The Administration Officer provides administrative support to the region, assists the team in the achievement of departmental objectives and provides quality customer service to the regional office as required.
Your main responsibilities will include, but not limited to, general reception duties including greeting and assisting clients and contractors, coordinating incoming telephone calls, mail distribution, processing of accounts payables and receivables, and assisting with fleet management. You will have the opportunity to connect with talented stakeholder groups internal and external to the Commission and be part of an environment which is conducive to the balanced economic and social development of the South-West region.
