This exciting role is part of our sales team, servicing industrial customers in the Southern Suburbs of Melbourne. As a Customer Development Manager, you will play a key role in building and developing strong relationships and generating new business growth within existing and new customers.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
1. Managing existing key accounts and developing new ones to drive sales growth and service excellence.
2. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet strategic business objectives and maximize business opportunities.
3. Maintaining a customer territory and maximizing business opportunities and sales growth.
4. Attending sales meetings, trade shows, and product training as required.
Suitable Candidate Profile
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Industry account management experience, preferably in commercial, automotive, or industrial sectors.
* Prior achievement in areas of responsibility, specifically sales results, customer relationship development, and territory management.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
