Tip Top Bakeries is looking for a
Trade Qualified Fitter & Turner
to join our high-performing maintenance team. Reporting to the Reliability Supervisor, you will support maintenance operations and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Roster: Rotating day shifts 2 weeks and then night shifts for two weeks (working ***** hours per shift)
Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs
Support production teams to maximise equipment uptime and efficiency
Identify and report hazards, incidents, and injuries in accordance with site protocols
Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures
Maintain machinery and equipment in line with work orders and service schedules
Ensure compliance with food safety, legality, and quality standards
About You / Qualifications
Trade qualification as a Fitter
3-5 years' experience in FMCG, food, or bakery environments (ideal)
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills and pneumatic systems knowledge
Welding experience (TIG, MIG, Stick) and competent machining skills (Lathe, Mill)
A proactive, safety-first mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
