About the Role
Based in Alice Springs, you’ll provide culturally appropriate legal advice and representation to Aboriginal victim-survivors of domestic, family, and sexual violence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Representing clients in Domestic Violence Orders and Victims of Crime Compensation matters (occasional Family Law & Child Protection)
- Working closely with Client Service Officers to deliver wrap-around support
- Building strong relationships with communities and stakeholders
- Travelling to remote communities for outreach and education

About You
You will bring:
- Eligibility for an NT legal practising certificate (restricted/unrestricted)
- At least 1 year post-admission experience (desirable)
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice and DFSV issues
- Strong communication skills and flexibility to travel
Additional requirements: C Class Driver’s Licence, Working with Children Clearance, and a clear Criminal History Check. Aboriginal language skills are highly valued (allowance available).
