Venue Manager
Salary: $90– $110,000 per year, excluding superannuation

About the Role
400 Gradi is a recognised Italian restaurant group known for authentic Neapolitan cuisine, quality service and strong hospitality standards. Our Norwood venue is located on The Parade in Adelaide and forms part of the broader Gradi Group.
This is a key leadership role suited to a confident, hands‐on Venue Manager who can take ownership of the restaurant, lead the team and drive the business day to day.
As Norwood operates as a satellite venue, we are looking for someone with strong business acumen, sound judgement and the ability to work autonomously with limited hand‐holding. You will be supported by the wider Gradi Group, but this role requires someone who can confidently stand on their own two feet, make practical decisions and lead from the front.
You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining service standards, managing staff performance, controlling costs and ensuring the venue continues to deliver the food, service and guest experience expected of the 400 Gradi brand.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day‐to‐day operations of the venue
* Drive strong service standards across front of house and back of house
* Manage, support and develop the venue team
* Oversee rostering, labour management and day‐to‐day staffing needs
* Monitor venue performance, costs, sales and operational standards
* Maintain a strong focus on guest experience and customer satisfaction
* Ensure compliance with food safety, RSA, workplace health and safety and company policies
* Work closely with the wider Gradi Group while confidently managing local venue needs
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service, culture and commercial performance
* Act as the key on‐site leader and point of contact for the Norwood venue
About You
* Previous experience as a Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager or senior hospitality leader
* Strong business acumen and commercial understanding
* Confident working autonomously and making practical operational decisions
* A genuine self‐starter with strong initiative and accountability
* Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills
* Strong understanding of hospitality operations, rostering, labour control and service standards
* Calm, organised and professional under pressureAble to build a positive team culture and hold staff accountable
* Comfortable working in a fast‐paced restaurant environment
* Current RSA or ability to obtain one
