Operations and Quality Manager

Job Summary:
The Operations and Quality Manager will oversee daily lab operations and production runs. He/She will conduct advanced lab testing on biowaste streams, operate lab equipment to assess material content and waste stream quality, process waste into reusable fuels and fertilisers, and deliver accurate feedstock samples and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with internal and external engineers on design and commissioning of plant equipment.
* Modify plant equipment to meet client and market needs.
* Troubleshoot, maintain and optimise process machinery.
* Ensure quality control procedures are always met to the highest standards.

Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in process/plant engineering within waste-processing, bioenergy or a related industry.
* Mechanical engineer or Mechanical Fitter qualification with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills and project management experience.
* Full working rights in Australia.
* Australian driver licence.
* Bonus points for forklift licence and P&ID/CAD experience.
