Geotechnical Engineer Role Overview
We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in residential, transport, and infrastructure projects.
1. Contribute to the provision of geotechnical services for project stages, from investigation to detail design and construction supervision.
2. Plan, coordinate, and manage field data acquisition, site investigations, testing, and produce calculations, reporting, specifications, and drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake geotechnical analysis in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations, and retaining walls.
* Provide quality check and review experience to an appropriate technical standard.
* Plan, program, and coordinate geotechnical project inputs to deliver agreed outputs on time and to agreed quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering with completion of geotechnical electives and/or major as part of your university studies.
* Minimum 5 years working experience in consulting field and/or recognised as a senior engineer in your current role.
* Experience with soil investigation, supervision, and geotechnical design.
* Previous experience with engineering software packages such as gINT, GEOSTUDIO, PLAXIS, ROCSCIENCE, CIRCLY, AutoCAD.
