Location – Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove and Breamlea
We're hiring a Senior Housekeeping Supervisor to help keep our accommodation and amenities spotless at our three caravan parks; Barwon Heads Caravan Park, Riverview Family Caravan Park and Breamlea Caravan Park.
The Role
The Senior Housekeeping Supervisor will assist and support the Accommodation Services Co-ordinator in the efficient daily operation of housekeeping, amenities cleaning & laundry operations across three caravan Parks. The Senior Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for driving and maintaining housekeeping standards and supervising, rostering, mentoring & training a team of cleaning staff. The Senior Housekeeping Supervisor will ensure that accommodation across the Parks is presented to a high standard, reflecting the needs and expectations of clients.
Key responsibilities
* Supervise and work with the Housekeeping Team, ensuring a culture of accountability, high performance, positivity and teamwork. This will include performing a range of cleaning duties including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, laundering, making beds, washing dishes, emptying bins and handling rubbish.
* Ensure that guest accommodation, amenity blocks, laundries, offices, meeting rooms, kitchens and other buildings as nominated by the managers are cleaned as per daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules and drive high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Assist the Accommodation Services Co-Ordinator in planning, rostering and prioritising of cleaning / housekeeping work and review annual, monthly and fortnightly work schedules.
* Maintain appropriate stock of cleaning materials, linen, cleaning equipment and consumables.
* Supervise the in-house laundry function across Parks and coordinate outsourced laundry ensuring appropriate stock levels meet occupancy levels.
* Assist in the continuous improvement of the caravan park by identifying and implementing quality improvement processes.

* Demonstrated experience supervising staff in a housekeeping or commercial cleaning environment.
* Reliable, organised and professional, with a friendly manner.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under time pressures.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Fit for manual tasks and have a keen eye for detail.
