Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join our team. As a key member of the leadership group, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the finance, budget, purchasing, and asset management services for the business unit.
Your primary focus will be on providing leadership and direction for business operations, including revenue and expenditure accounting activities, as well as ongoing development of a wide range of business strategies spanning the business needs of the business unit.
You will design and implement effective business planning processes, prepare a range of plans, including business and asset management plans, and provide high-level financial analysis and scenario planning to the leadership team.
In addition, you will lead the preparation of the annual budget build, working strategically and collaboratively with project leaders and the leadership team to ensure that the business unit is compliant with contractual commitments of externally funded research projects.
