At the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trust Grade Doctor to join our dynamic team in Brighton. The role is a fixed-term full-time position, lasting 12 months from October 2025.
The successful candidate will work closely with Consultant Paediatricians and junior doctors to deliver high-quality specialist paediatric care to patients on a day-to-day basis. This will involve serving as a critical member of the in-patient care team across various locations, assisting Consultants in supervising and supporting more junior doctors, and making senior decisions during out-of-hours shifts.
We welcome candidates who have completed foundation training (or equivalent) and have at least 3 years of paediatric experience. A Higher Degree and Advanced Life Support Certificate are also required. We value broad experience within and outside the specialty, as well as managerial skills and an interest in teaching.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be able to work effectively in multi-professional teams. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to the education of medical students and participate in audit and research activities.
