About the role
We're looking for an experienced Practice Manager ready to transition into a smaller, close-knit practice, or a medical administration superstar eager to take the next step in their career - to join our warm and supportive team at Myhealth Smith Collective
As a Practice Manager, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence while creating a supportive, team-driven environment. You'll have the chance to grow your career in a dynamic, forward-thinking practice that places strong emphasis on personal development and ongoing training.
A day in the life:
* Collaborating with lead doctors to ensure smooth operational workflows
* Overseeing the day-to-day practice operations with a focus on quality care
* Facilitating inductions and in-house training sessions for new staff
* Managing the diary scheduling system with the Clinical Team, including waitlist management and patient appointment coordination
* Providing solution-focused management to clinic operations and doctor queries
* Leading a team with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and patient care
What we're looking for:
* Experience in GP medical reception or practice management (desired)
* Confident in taking on leadership and senior administrative roles
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Experience in managing nursing and administration staff is preferred but not essential
* Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
* Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
* A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for enhancing patient experiences and practice operations
