Rosewall Neighbourhood Centre Inc. is seeking a community-minded Centre Leader to coordinate programs, volunteers and day-to-day operations at Lara Community Centre.

About the role
The Centre Leader (Lara) position is responsible for supporting life‐long learning, skill development and personal growth of community members through the management of education and social connection programs at the Lara Community Centre. The position ensures the smooth day‐to‐day operations at the Lara site and oversees the organisation's volunteer program.
Skills, experience, and competencies
* Tertiary qualification in Adult and Vocational Education, Community Services, Community Development (or similar) or TAFE‐level qualification with relevant experience.
* Demonstrated skills and experience in planning, delivering and evaluating community programs.
* Well‐developed communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds.
* Applied knowledge of community development principles.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment.
Hours
25 hours per week (across 4 days).

Neighbourhood House Collective Agreement (NHACE) 2024 Level 5
Location
The primary work location is the Lara Community Centre, Waverley Road, Lara
The successful applicant must have proof of right to work in Australia, and will require a current Police Check and Working With Children Check.
