Celebrating over 30 years, CMAX is one of Australia's largest, longest running and most experienced clinical trial units conducting successful world‐leading research for local and international clients, specialising in a range of early‐phase trials.
These studies have resulted in the advancement of global medicines and technologies, from cancer treatment and pain control to early warning bio‐devices and hormone replacement therapies.
CMAX operates a 78‐bed capacity state‐of‐the‐art facility, is primely positioned opposite the Royal Adelaide Hospital and SAHMRI building in the western end of the city.
About the role
Reporting to the Marketing & Engagement Manager, and working closely with the marketing team this role plays a critical part in driving participant recruitment for clinical trials and strengthening the brand awareness of CMAX.
While you will contribute to strategy and planning, you will be hands‐on in building campaigns, creating content, analysing data and implementing improvements.
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for
* Assistance and support in the content creation, implementation and execution of the marketing objectives aimed to achieve attraction and recruitment of participants for all clinical studies.
* Creation of content to increase in brand awareness of CMAX to potential volunteers, relevant sponsors/businesses and the wider community.
* Create and implement study specific marketing plans, programs and initiatives.
* Create, coordinate and implement advertising campaigns for individual study recruitment.
* Be responsible for following and maintaining study specific reporting across various marketing channels to map campaign progress and need for adjustments.
* Liaise with the internal stakeholders to monitor recruitment and lead progress.
* Provide regular updates of study specific campaigns.
* Maintain and manage the marketing schedule and campaign set‐up for study specific advertising and promotions.
* Participate in discussions/meetings with potential study sponsors as requested by the Marketing & Engagement Manager.
* Monitor campaign analytics and generate up‐to‐date marketing status information to be used.
* Responsible for regular content creation and timely distribution of marketing assets to our media partners.
* Follow the brand marketing calendar closely to ensure timely execution of images and content for CMAX brand.
* Brainstorm ideas with the team on regular participant engagement activities and targeted marketing projects.
* Develop and execute CMAX Social Media content – create and post regular images, videos and articles.
* Update and manage CMAX social media – filtering and replying to comments and messages and passing on potential leads to the Participant Engagement Team.
* Responsible for creation, distribution and reporting of email newsletters and SMS campaigns to potential volunteers.
* Ensure all marketing activity complies with SOPs and relevant regulatory guidelines.
About you
* An experienced marketing professional with 4–5+ years in hands‐on marketing roles.
* Tertiary or vocational training and/or qualification in Marketing, or equivalent experience.
* Knowledgeability and proven experience with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok; Online Marketing Software – Canva, Mailchimp, Google Analytics and any other Social Media scheduling software.
* A high level of interpersonal skills, including verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
* Excellent prioritising, assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as contribute successfully within a fast‐paced team environment.
* Demonstrated competence in the personal attributes of initiative, creativity and action driven.
* A can‐do attitude and a team player mentality is a must.
* A creative flair and love for marketing.
