The Company The Boat Works is Australia’s leading and most innovative marine facility, located in the heart of the Gold Coast Marine Precinct, Coomera. A proudly family-owned business since the 1980s, operating across 55 acres, offering world-class services to both domestic and international vessels. With over 100 marine businesses onsite and more than 1,000 people working within the precinct each day, The Boat Works is a vibrant hub of marine trades, boat sales, retail, and hospitality, all in a resort-style, community-focused facility. They are proud of their long-standing, passionate team, many of whom have been with the business for over a decade. As the business continues to grow and evolve, they are now looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their busy and friendly front-of-house crew. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that’s helping shape the future of Australia’s marine industry! The Duties Coordinating vessel bookings for haul-outs, returns and marina stays Communicating with a wide range of customers, and on-site tenants via email, phone and walk-ins Managing inbound calls, emails, two-way radios and face-to-face enquiries Taking payments, quoting, invoicing and general admin duties Scheduling vessels movements and bookings Using Marina Master software, along with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Working onsite full-time with a dynamic team environment. A Successful Candidate A foundation of marine knowledge, understanding boats and the industry is preferable Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to a broad customer base Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment A proactive, customer-focused attitude with solid admin capabilities Previous experience using Marina Master (or similar) is highly desirable Full Australian working rights — unfortunately, this role is not open to Working Holiday Visa holders Why Join the Team?
