Site Operations Manager

This is a key leadership role within our project team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.

The successful candidate will be a highly experienced and skilled professional, with a proven track record in managing complex projects from planning through to completion.

* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful outcomes, coordinating and managing diverse project teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
* Lead all phases of construction, from planning through to completion, ensuring that project deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.
* Oversee contractor and vendor relationships, including performance management and contract negotiations.
* Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and key issues.

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
* 15+ years of experience in the construction sector, ideally with exposure to large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
* Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with experience delivering complex builds on time and within budget.
* Demonstrated ability to manage contractor performance and negotiate key contracts.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* In-depth knowledge of Australian construction safety and compliance regulations, particularly in the renewable energy sector.
