We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscape Gardener to join our growing team.
**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Preparing garden designs and planning the layout of soft and hard landscaping features, including paths, water features, and garden beds.
- Installing and maintaining lawns, shrubs, trees, and flowers using appropriate horticultural techniques.
- Implementing irrigation systems and ensuring their proper maintenance.
- Carrying out soil preparation, including cultivation and fertilizing, to support healthy plant growth.
- Identifying and treating pests, diseases, and other plant health issues.
- Constructing outdoor features such as retaining walls, fences, and decorative structures.
- Monitoring and maintaining landscapes to ensure they meet design specifications and aesthetic standards.
- Using and maintaining gardening tools and machinery effectively and safely.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their landscaping needs and providing expert advice.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards at all times.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Certificate III or higher in Horticulture, Landscape Design, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience (minimum of 3 years preferred) in landscape gardening or a similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of horticultural practices and plant care.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining landscaping tools and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret garden designs and plans.
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
