Kite Magnetics On-site | Full-time | Ongoing Notting Hill, Victoria, Australia About Us: Kite Magnetics (Melbourne, Australia) develops and manufactures advanced magnetic materials for use in high performance electric motors. Our patented Aeroperm® nanocrystalline material, originating at Monash University, enables lighter, more efficient electric motors and generators for weight- and energy-sensitive applications. The Opportunity: Help build a new class of magnetic materials and stator cores. This is a hands-on technical production role in a clean, procedure-driven prototype manufacturing environment. The role suits people with a trade, apprenticeship or machining background, or anyone who enjoys working with machines, tools and mechanical systems. Experience with EDM cutting, machining and fitting and turning will be highly regarded. You will help assemble, operate, maintain and improve prototype production equipment, working closely with an experienced team of materials, mechanical and automation engineers. A university degree is not required.
