Principal Infrastructure Engineer Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Facilities Engineer to lead all aspects of facility operations, drive high-reliability and continuously implement industry leading O&M methodologies and technologies. Directly focused on support of facility infrastructure, i.e., resilient power distribution, cooling systems, facility management/industrial control systems, etc.
We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering to manage the design, construction, and maintenance of our facilities. This role requires strong leadership skills, ability to coordinate installation, construction, maintenance, documentation, support/testing activities and ensure compliance with specifications, codes or customer requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing organizational leadership and technical oversight to facility operations and maintenance teams. Key responsibilities include maintaining, implementing or improving electrical and mechanical equipment, facilities, components or systems for data center operations, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes or customer requirements by coordinating installation, construction, maintenance, documentation, support/testing activities and performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results, who have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and who thrive in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience as an engineer in operation and/or maintenance and proven leadership skills. Proven leader of Facility O&M teams is a must-have requirement. Ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) polygraph pre-start is also necessary.
This is a long-term assignment and the selected candidate will be expected to go on an international assignment. Relocation/assignment benefits will be provided.
