An exciting opportunity has become available to join a thriving property development group located on the NSW Central Coast.
This is a hands-on role working alongside a supportive Senior Management Accountant, offering exposure to a broad range of accounting functions across multiple entities within a dynamic and growing business.
About the Role This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and has a strong understanding of core accounting principles.
Key responsibilities include:
* Month-end financial reporting and journal entries
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Intercompany transactions and recharges
* Support with Accounts Payable including EFTsure supplier verification and payment runs
* Calculating and processing accruals and prepayments
* Assisting with property settlement accounting
* Cash flow monitoring and forecasting
* BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement via the ATO portal
* Support in preparation of annual audit documentation
* Ad hoc reconciliations and other finance tasks as required
About You We're seeking someone who brings both technical expertise and a proactive mindset.
To succeed in this role, you'll have:
* A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar financial accounting role
* Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
* Good working knowledge of AP/AR workflows
* Solid experience with accruals and prepayments
* Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
* Confidence to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Clear and professional communication skills
