Established in 1990, Queensland Aerospace Pty Ltd, T/A Queensland Aerospace College (QAC), located in Brisbane, Australia, is a leading global aviation training provider with excellent standards of training in aviation maintenance and aerospace Engineering.
The College specialises in advanced aircraft maintenance engineer training, both theoretical and practical, on an impressive range of aircraft types, including Airbus, ATR, Boeing, Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault Falcon, Embraer, Fairchild, Fokker, Gulfstream, and Hawker Beechcraft.
QAC is also backed by approvals from the World's most foremost authorities on civilian aviation safety, the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
THE POSITION
The Accounts Clerk is a newly created position, and we now seek an ambitious and highly motivated person to support our team and help grow our businesses to the next level. Initially a part time position is offered leading to full time on successful completion of the Probationary Period.
The Accounts Clerk performs a critical role in supporting our training effort.
The Accounts Clerk reports directly to the Office Manager and is responsible for day-to-day accounts duties as directed by the Office Manager.
We operate in the aviation and education industries which require you to be savvy, astute, and have a proactive and hands on approach to driving business.

- Payroll
- Quality / Compliance
ABOUT YOU (required skills and education)
To be successful in this role, you will be someone who is passionate about building long lasting and fruitful relationships with others. You will also be an exceptional communicator on all levels, possess excellent organisational skills, and have a strong work ethic which will allow you to thrive working in this fast-paced environment.
You must:
- Have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- Have a sound knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Be fluent in English with strong communications skills - both written and oral.
- Be proficient with accounting software, Reckon Hosted.
- Have a sound working knowledge and practical experience with Electronic Data Management Systems, in particular M Files.
- Have a sound working knowledge and skills in the use of a diverse range of software applications including but not limited to Microsoft products, Adobe products, Zoom etc.
- Have a sound working knowledge and practical hands‑on experience with e-commerce platforms.
- Have strong conceptual ability in troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Have attention to detail and accuracy, and strong time management, prioritisation and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain flexibility in different situations and adapt to change.
- Have a high level of personal drive and self‑motivation.
- Have attention to detail, and strong service/work ethic.
