The Opportunity
We have an exciting new opportunity to join our business as a Forklift Operator.
Reporting to our Production Manager, you will join of the production team and will be a key part of day-to-day production.
Key responsibilities & tasks include:
* Coordinate with production to ensure the packing lines have the product or packaging required to maintain productivity and efficiency.
* Align with Production and Dispatch teams to ensure packed product meets logistic timelines.
* Loading and unloading of packaged or raw materials when required.
* Ensuring required standards of hygiene are at their highest level within the facility.
About You
This role would suit those who are passionate about fresh produce, continuous improvement, and being a part of a diverse team environment who are energised about what we do and where we are heading.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Experience operating a High Reach forklift in a warehouse environment loading and unloading trucks.
* Adaptability to varied work hours if required.
* Ability to demonstrate high level of safety awareness.
* The ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced, cold room environment.
* Capability to perform repetitious tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically.
* RF scanning experience.
* Basic familiarity with RF scanning systems is required.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Current driver's license, LF forklift license and full Australian working rights. A HC Truck License would also be desirable.
* A current LF forklift licence is required at the time of application.
This casual position is based at our Kalbar facility, so would ideally suit someone who lives locally or wanting a tree-change to the Scenic Rim region.
