Key Responsibilities:
* Provide compassionate assistance with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing to support dignity and comfort.
* Serve meals and offer support during mealtimes, ensuring residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
* Observe and monitor residents' health and behaviour, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
* Assist with safe mobility, transfers, and positioning to support residents’ independence and physical wellbeing.
* Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
About You:
McLean Care is looking for certified, caring, and empathetic individuals who are passionate about supporting others and making a meaningful contribution to their community.
Essential:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Physically fit and able to apply safe manual handling practices
* Able to use smartphone/tablet & learn new systems for work purposes
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* 2 Recent Managerial Referees
* Police Clearance – we run one for you for free!
* Compassionate and patient with a positive attitude
* Current First Aid/CPR certification or in process of obtaining
Beneficial:
* Previous experience in a Residential Aged Care setting
* Medication Administration Certified
