Clinical Nurse Educator – Medical Imaging
Orange Health Service

About The Role
An exciting new Clinical Nurse Educator role at Orange Health Service Medical Imaging

1 day per week

* no clinical shifts
* start fresh in 2026

Are you a passionate or aspiring nurse educator looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, forward-thinking environment? Orange Health Service Medical Imaging is introducing a new Clinical Nurse Educator position — and we're looking for a dynamic, collaborative professional to help shape the future of nursing education in our department.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a non-clinical leadership role, working just one day per week to support the ongoing development of our nursing team. You'll play a key role in fostering a culture of learning, professional growth, and clinical excellence.

What Makes This Role Unique

* Flexible schedule: one dedicated day per week — ideal for experienced nurses seeking a balanced role.
* Non-clinical focus: concentrate on education, mentoring, and professional development — no clinical shifts required.
* Lead learning initiatives: design and deliver education programs, support onboarding, and promote best practice.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team: work alongside radiographers, interventional specialists, and nursing staff to enhance patient care through education.
* Grow your leadership profile: be part of a new initiative shaping the future of nursing education in medical imaging.

About Orange Medical Imaging

* A busy, innovative department providing both routine and emergency imaging services to inpatients and outpatients.
* Part of the Western NSW Local Health District's Medical Imaging Business Unit (MIBU), with access to shared resources and integrated RIS and PACS systems.
* Committed to continuous improvement, professional development, and high-quality, patient-centred care.

If you're an experienced nurse with a passion for teaching and a desire to support others in their professional journey, we'd love to hear from you.
