As a Consultant at MacGregor Advisory Group, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic, high-quality and cost-effective consulting services to our diverse client base across the Energy Transition. Based in our Melbourne or Sydney office, this full‑time position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the continued growth and success of our dynamic organisation.
What you'll be doing
* Collaborating with clients to identify and analyse their energy transition and decarbonisation challenges and requirements
* Developing and implementing customised solutions to capture opportunities in the decarbonisation space and to drive operational efficiency and growth
* Conducting in‑depth market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision‑making
* Preparing comprehensive reports, presentations and proposals to effectively communicate insights and recommendations
* Participating in the design and delivery of training programs to enhance clients' knowledge and capabilities
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients and building a network of industry contacts
* Continuously updating your knowledge of industry trends, technologies and best practices
What we're looking for
* Relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as Engineering, Business or Commercial
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Consultant or in a similar client‑facing role preferably with time at a Strategy Consultancy.
* Demonstrated consulting experience is essential for this position
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to think strategically
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
* Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology tools
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Passion for delivering exceptional client service and driving positive business outcomes
