Job Title
A Principal Engineer is sought to lead the development of advanced control algorithms for next-generation energy solutions.
* The ideal candidate will have expertise in grid-forming and grid-following control, inverter control, and power system stability.
* A deep understanding of simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, or equivalent is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain grid-forming control algorithms for power electronics converters (energy storage, PV, and wind inverters).
* Build and enhance development-level modelling and simulation tools for power electronic systems.
* Conduct stability analysis and develop robust control strategies to ensure reliable integration into power-electronized grids (including P2X applications).
* Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to implement and validate control strategies in real-time systems.
Requirements:
* An advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Systems is necessary.
* Proven experience with simulation tools, power system stability, and control systems is also required.
