About this role
Maintenance Officer (Junior); full-time position for 38 hours each week, across 5 days based at Calvin Christian School. This position commences on 5 January 2026.

About you
* It is expected that the incumbent will bring a Christian world view to bear on the various aspects of the position and will participate fully within the spiritual life of the school.
* The Maintenance Officer (junior) will assist the Property Manager and school Maintenance Coordinators with the following duties:
* Enhance student learning outcomes;
* Maintenance;
* Gardens/Grounds;
* Cleaning;
* Resources and Operations;
* Compliance and Safety and
* Professional Development
Skills and experience
Essential Requirements
* Current Working with Vulnerable people card.
* Current Tasmanian vehicle driver licence (manual).
* A National Police Record or a willingness to obtain.
* Physical fitness for the requirements of the position, including a pre-employment full health assessment.
Desirable Requirements
* Current Tasmanian driver licence for light, medium or heavy rigid drivers licence or willingness to obtain.
* Provide First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
* Working at heights qualifications or willingness to obtain.
* Chainsaw operations qualifications or willingness to obtain.
* Qualifications in electrical testing and tagging or willingness to obtain.
* Maintenance, trade and/or grounds person experience.
