We're expanding and looking for Bakers of all levels to join our growing team
We have full-time, and casual opportunities available at our Marrickville location.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Baker, you'll play a key role in daily production, mentoring junior bakers, and maintaining the high standards Tuga is known for.
* Hands-on bread baking and dough production
* Working across a variety of breads – including sourdough and artisan styles
* Managing medium-volume production with precision and consistency
* Assisting with recipe development and process improvement
* Working collaboratively with the team to meet daily targets
* Excellent understanding of baking techniques and industry best practices
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
* Above all - a true passion for baking and pride in creating products people love
What We're Looking For
* Strong knowledge of baking techniques and production processes
* Proven experience in sourdough and artisan baking
* Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced production environment
* Experience scaling up production while maintaining quality and consistency
* Capability to train, mentor, and support new and junior team members
* Skills to structure and lead a team effectively
* Interest in developing, testing, and continuously improving recipes
* Food Safety Certification (preferred but not essential)
* Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for baking and a strong commitment to quality
* Weekend availability is essential
* Australian work rights required
