Job Overview
Join the Campbelltown Hospital Pharmacy Service and be part of an exciting transformation within a brand-new facility where innovation and patient‐centred care are at the heart of everything we do. As part of a collaborative, forward‐thinking team, you will contribute to a broad range of pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings, including clinical services, dispensing, distribution, and manufacturing. Through a structured rotational program, you will work alongside experienced clinical leads to deliver specialised services that support the safe, appropriate, and cost‐effective use of medicines.
Responsibilities
* Manage complex medication management for patients in a fast‐paced hospital environment.
* Confidently manage competing priorities and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
* Promote teamwork and supervise support staff.
* Participate in clinical meetings, medical rounds, and contribute to medication policy development.
* Provide education and promote professional development among staff.
* Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail and high‐quality patient care.
Qualifications & Selection Criteria
* Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions.
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a registered pharmacist in hospital pharmacy.
* Either:
o Minimum 12 months clinical pharmacist experience in the nominated specialty area (or similar).
o Relevant postgraduate qualifications and minimum 6 months experience in the nominated specialty area (or similar).
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Judgement and independence in problem solving.
* Clinical drug knowledge and experience in applying it to clinical settings.
* Experience in participating in medication policy development.
* Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
* Ability to supervise pharmacy staff and provide guidance.
* Organisational and time‐management skills.
* Contribution to quality assurance activities.
* Record of participation in teaching programmes with pharmacists, nursing staff or other health care providers.
