Join Our Journey
We are seeking a dedicated Allocations Assistant to join the Monash Health Bureau (MHB) team, based at Kingston Centre. This role is suitable for someone available to work 7 days per fortnight, who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
As part of the MHB Allocations Team, you will be responsible for coordinating staffing across Monash Health using a web‑based workforce management system. To address workforce shortages, you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders. The role also includes a range of administrative tasks that support our operational functions.
A Day in the Life
In this dynamic role, you'll use your strong communication and computer skills to manage a variety of tasks, including:
* Working a rotating roster of morning, day and afternoon shifts
* Covering operational hours between 5:30 AM and 10:00 PM, 7 days a week
* Receiving comprehensive on-the-job training
* Using a web-based staff allocation system
* Hybrid working arrangements may be negotiated once proficient
* General administrative tasks supported by clearly defined processes
About You
We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic administrator who brings:
* Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving abilities
* A commitment to delivering high-quality service
* Meet the requirements contained in the Position Description
* Complete probity checks: Two (2) References including current Manager, Employee Working with Children Check, Right to Work in Australia
