The UGL/TasWater alliance is currently recruiting a Project Engineer to provide engineering support, advice, design input, and multi-disciplinary design management services. The goal is to enable the delivery of projects and programs to upgrade and create water and wastewater assets, focusing on treatment assets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide input to business case authors during planning on process, control, and instrumentation requirements.
2. Develop or procure concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for infrastructure projects, emphasizing treatment/process components.
3. Collaborate with estimating teams to build cost estimates for process components based on various design stages.
4. Ensure solutions are deliverable, fit for purpose, and meet relevant standards.
5. Prepare detailed documentation and specifications for process-related components to support procurement and project delivery.
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
* Extensive knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, including physical, chemical, and biological aspects.
* Proven experience in Project Management and Design Management.
* Applied knowledge of AS9001 Quality Systems.
